Since its foundation in 2015, the Prime Re Academy has established itself as a leading provider of workshops in the areas of (re)insurance and actuarial engineering. In 2019, we will also offer two new workshops on Model Validation and on Basic Casualty. The latter will be held by two former Swiss Re underwriters, René Oefeli and Jürg Busenhart.
In 2019, the Prime Re Academy will be hosting a total of eight different workshops, namely
Most courses are newly divided into weeks, where two connected workshops form a theme week, e.g. Capital Modeling Week in February with “Risk, Capital and Solvency Models – an ORSA Perspective” and “Model Validation”. Those who attend both workshops of a thematic week will be granted a discount of CHF 1'000. Nevertheless, all courses can of course be booked individually.
The Prime Re Academy, as the educational institution of Prime Re Solutions, was founded in 2015 by Dr. Frank Cuypers and Prof. Dr. Michael Köhlel. All partners of Prime Re Solutions regularly perform as lecturers. Among them Dr. Frank Cuypers, Prof. Dr. Michel Dacorogna, Simone Dalessi and Prof. Dr. Michael Köhler. However, we also regularly invite guest lecturers, such as Prof. Karel van Hulle, Dr. Pedro Fonseca and Dimitris Papachristou.
